One Lovely Blog and the Mystic Month of May

Ah, how sweet. My blog got nominated for the One Lovely Blog award. Cute.
The rules to the award:
1. Thank the person/people who nominated you and link back to them.
2. Share a few things about yourself.
3. Nominate some other bloggers you admire.
4. Contact your chosen bloggers to let them know.

So, a big huggy thank you to Laura Thomas over at FUOnlyKnew.
Laura is a book blogger who reviews Paranormal, Dystopian, Thriller/Suspense, Romantic Suspense, Fantasy and Horror. Sometimes she'll throw in another genre just for gicks and shiggles.

Here's a few things about me, myself and eye.

I'm a writer, working on my WIP called Cookies and Cowboys. My current kick is Culinary Romance. You know hot love between sexy chefs and their cucumbers...or, err, I mean men.

I used to work for a giant sandwich franchise- selling new shops, helping to work out the real estate, coordinating the construction and assisting the owners with gettin open. *Waves to my Big Q friends*

My guiltiest guilty pleasure is Cupcake Wars on the Food Network. I could watch all weekend marathons of it and not get my sugar fix.

I used to teach English as a Foreign Language. I worked in the Czech Republic, Vietnam and Poland. I came back to The States in the summer of 2011 to write full time.

So, to nominate some other bloggers I'm gonna go crazy and throw the One Lovely Blog Award gauntlet down to some women who have been an amazing support system for me.
I nominate the blogs of CRW's Mystic Month of May.

ButterflyFlannery Sloane is a free spirit, her soul blessed by Irish musical tradition. She doesn’t care where she’s going or how she’ll get there. Joy and passion are her only map. And, though she’s not interested in falling in love, she wouldn’t mind a little fun with a fine-looking man. Hunter Kincade could fill that bill and have a bit of change left over.
Hunter thrives on punctuality. He is in the music business with his focus on the bottom line. The pretty fiddle player with the bright green eyes would make his next production worth the price of a CD. But Flannery never wears a watch. She’s late for everything but the downbeat of a fiddle tune.
Their only common ground is the belief that falling in love is a danger to health and sanity. They’re all wrong for each other...and they are so right.
